Bacci at NAMM, with the Boutique Guitar Showcase

Bacci at NAMM.
Among the best.

Twelve Bacci instruments stand inside the Boutique Guitar Showcase, the floor that gathers the finest guitars and basses in the world. That address is the story: to be there, a maker is chosen. Here is the booth, what travels to Anaheim, and the jams that went to hundreds of thousands of views.

The short answer

Bacci at NAMM, with the Showcase.

Bacci exhibits at the NAMM Show in Anaheim, California, every January, inside the Boutique Guitar Showcase: the curated floor that brings together the finest guitars and basses in the world, chosen one by one by Jamie Gale.

That is the whole point, and it is worth saying plainly. A place on the Showcase floor is earned by selection, and Bacci holds twelve instruments there. Standing among the best builders alive, in the room where collectors, dealers and players come to look closely, is what gives the address its weight. So the story reads Bacci at NAMM with the Boutique Guitar Showcase, and the company it keeps is part of the value.

At NAMM 2026 the Showcase held booth 4210, and it was there that Tosca was presented to the public for the first time: the fully hollow guitar built in fifty numbered examples, after ten years of development and seven of prototyping with the architect Eri Goshen.

The next edition is NAMM 2027, in Anaheim, in January. Booth details are published here as soon as the floor plan is confirmed.

The jam that travelled.

The single most watched thing Bacci has ever done came from two guitarists meeting at the stand.

At NAMM 2024, Matteo Mancuso and Cory Wong played together at the Bacci booth for the first time. The clip of them running through Sunny passed 640,000 views on YouTube. Mancuso’s jam with Tomo Fujita from the same stand passed 200,000. He also played with Adam Miller, and with his father Vincenzo Mancuso, at the same bench, on the same instruments.

The year before, at NAMM 2023, his solo performance at the show had already passed 385,000 views.

None of it was staged. People walked up to the stand, picked up a baritone, and started.

Who you will meet

Bruno is on the stand.

Bruno Bacci, master luthier

Bacci is a small workshop in Pescia, Tuscany, and the person who built the instrument on the wall is usually the person standing next to it. Bruno does not send a sales team to Anaheim.

It is the reason the stand tends to turn into a jam. Players pick something up, ask what the second output does, and stay. Cory Wong came back. Mark Lettieri came back. Paul Davids tried one three times and bought it on the third.

If you are going to be at the show, the useful thing to do is tell us in advance. Bench time at the stand is limited and it fills up.

In their words

What players say.

Put flats on it and it sounds like an old P bass. Put round-wounds on it and there’s a lot of bite.

The amount of low end and even saturation coming from this bass is insane.
