Marleo is a bass of modern design that brings with it a wealth of sounds that allow it to range over a wide range of sounds
Groundbreaking features
The instrument adheres to all of Bacci's signature construction standards, such as lightweight design, comfortable playability, precise intonation, and a vast array of tonal possibilities. Additionally, Nordstrand's active 3 Band Preamp further amplifies the Marleo's tone shaping capabilities.
Bridge
The 4 String Vintage bridge by Hipshot is the chosen bridge for the Amrita. It embodies the classic bent-plate design while boasting significant improvements in key areas. It's an excellent choice for adding vintage appeal to your retro guitar build.
Pick-ups
To ensure the electrical components of the Amrita align with its design, we opted for the 4P-HOT pickup from Aguilar Amplification. The HOT series is known for its thick lows and growly midrange, effectively capturing the dynamics and subtleties of your playing.

Bass Amrita Woodworm Michael League
For guitar builder Bruno Bacci, the choice of a moth-eaten body of alder for the Amrita IV is not just a matter of aesthetics, but rather a reflection of his appreciation for Tuscan woodworking art. This porous body is intricately linked to the guitar's percussive, warm, and airy sound, which is achieved through tiny tonal chambers naturally created by woodworms.
Groundbreaking features
Despite its appearance as a solid-body guitar, the Amrita Woodworm Michael League’s unique construction makes it a favorite among professionals, and it’s the awarded Michael League’s signature, the bassist, composer, producer, and founder of Snarky Puppy, who has developed a strong affinity for the instrument.

The 4 String Vintage bridge by Hipshot is the chosen bridge for the Amrita. It embodies the classic bent-plate design while boasting significant improvements in key areas. Made with premium materials and manufactured using precise laser and CNC techniques, this bridge promises a lifetime of stable, buzz-free tone. Woodworm
Woodworms are the secret to the Amrita's airy sound - these insect larvae bore into the beautiful alder body, transforming the holes into tiny tonal chambers.
Finish
The Nitrocellulose finish on both the body and neck is like a second skin, allowing the wood to vibrate to its fullest potential. The result is a truly natural look that evokes a sense of timelessness.
Fine tuning
Finally, the Amrita is expertly fine-tuned by the hands of Bruno Bacci himself. Every detail, from tension to intonation, is meticulously adjusted to maximize vibration and sound definition. This is craftsmanship at its finest.
